Fashion | Nicole Velez

As I was preparing for my blog, knowing that I somehow wanted to incorporate fashion into it, I met Nicky at a women’s conference. I knew while I was sharing my desire with Nicky to build up and encourage women to “be the best you that God created you to be,” even through the way they dress, that it was a divine encounter. It wasn’t by chance that she was a model and shared my vision and desire to see women express themselves with their own personal flair, keeping modesty a priority.

I believe that beauty begins from within. As God transforms us from the inside out and we become more like Him, we can truly see who we were created to be and be used for a greater purpose. I believe that fashion is a form of art. We are the blank canvas and we get to paint an amazing picture with the clothes, shoes and accessories we put on. Yes, we all have those days of lounging in our sweats or yoga pants, lets be real, but by taking the time to dress and do our makeup, it does make us feel better. For those of you who are intimidated in the area of fashion, I hope that you will be inspired to step out of your comfort zone and find a style that appeals to you and try it out!

“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30

I hope you enjoy this little intro to Nicole and continue to read her contributions!

I discover with each passing day who I am as my relationship with God continues to grow. One of my favorite things in this world is getting to express who I am because of who God made me to be. You and I, consciously or unconsciously, get to express who we are or what we are trying to say when we dress. With each post I’ll share insight with you, where you can find clothing / products I post, and easy tips you can use everyday! Stay tuned for upcoming posts!

With love,

Nicole Velez
